President and Chief Operating Officer of SRR Management Corp.
Through a publicly traded company known as All-State Properties, served as a corporate officer, then became its general partner and developed real estate in Long Island, New York, Maryland, Kentucky, Florida, and Argentina.
Incorporated and helped develop the 4,200-acre City of Lauderhill; built single family homes, townhomes, apartments and shopping centers. Planned and built Forest Trace at Inverrary®, one of South Florida’s premier full service rental retirement communities, containing 322 apartment units including a 40-bed licensed assisted living component constructed on 73 lushly landscaped acres including a 30-acre lake. Stanley Rosenthal spearheaded the project from inception and, through SRR Management Corp., had stayed on in a consulting role upon its sale to Forest City Enterprises, Inc. in 2000. He continued to consult and oversee the operation of Forest Trace until its subsequent sale in 2014 to Pacifica Senior Living.
Area of expertise was in the field of real estate development and retirement housing, and was considered to be an innovative visionary in the industry. Along with SRR Management Corp., received a commendation from Secretary Cuomo of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) for his work at Forest Trace, which was selected by HUD’s Office of Multifamily Housing Programs as one of its high-performing multi-family properties. Was personally invited to Washington to meet Secretary Cuomo and received the Secretary’s acknowledgment of his fine work in management.
Was a graduate of New York University School of Commerce with a degree in accounting cum laude, and was a lieutenant in the U.S. Army serving overseas in Germany. Moved to Florida from New York in 1963. Was a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida from 1982. In addition, was called upon to supply expert witness testimony in a number of court cases involving real estate development.
Was recognized in 2002 by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as a Pioneer in the development of Broward County. The Broward County Commissioners designated April 15, 2004 as “Stanley R. Rosenthal Day” in Broward County, Florida, and the City Council of the City of Lauderhill made a similar designation on April 8, 2004 in the City of Lauderhill and again upon his retirement on January 18, 2015.
