Forest Trace
Forest Trace at Inverrary®, opened in 1989 and was South Florida’s premier full-service rental retirement community, containing 322 units and a 40-bed licensed assisted living component constructed on 73 lushly landscaped acres including a 30-acre lake. Forest Trace under Stanley Rosenthal’s tutelage offered its approximately 400 residents a variety of services including transportation, housekeeping, dining and top-name entertainment, as well as social, recreational and educational activities. Forest Trace had a separate theater designated the Jenny Grossinger Theater, and through association with Elaine Grossinger Etess, Jenny’s daughter, brought top tier talent to the Forest Trace residents. The community employed approximately 130 persons and in addition, there were approximately 100 private duty nurses/aides on site. Stanley Rosenthal spearheaded the project from inception until its sale to Forest City Enterprises, Inc. in 2000. He stayed on as consultant and oversaw the operation through SRR Management Corp. until its subsequent sale to Pacifica Senior Living in 2014. He had an incredible staff that worked with him throughout and helped make Forest Trace a success.
